M’laya win 3rd consecutive match

SHILLONG: In the Plate Group of BCCI Womens U-23 age group tournament held at Bhubaneshwar, MCA registered their third consecutive victory defeating Puducherry by 9 wickets on Friday. Opting to field first Meghalaya bowled out Puducherry for a paltry 105 runs in 45.5 overs with in form all rounder and captain Debasmita Dutta claiming 4 wickets while Solina Jaba and Deiphi Mawnai accounting for 2 wickets each. In reply Meghalaya 106 runs in 39.4 overs with opener Luiza Tamang top scoring with a patient 37 runs(97 balls) while Debasmita remained unbeaten with 27 runs to her credit.
