Clarification
The news capsule ‘Book release’ erroneously mentioned Aftab H. Saikia as the Chief Justice of Meghalaya. He is the former chief justice.
Book distribution
Meghandini Mahila Samiti, Shillong distributed free books and other study materials to the under privilege students at Gandhi Buniyadi Hindi Secondary school, Golflinks on Friday. Rocky Hek attended the programme as special guest and distributed the study materials to the children. The Samiti will perform similar activity in few other schools later this month.
Convocation
IIM Shillong will host its 10th annual convocation at Mayurbhanj Complex, Nongthymmai at 10:50 am on Saturday. Industry leader Dr VivekLall vice president, Aeronautics Strategy and Business Development at Lockheed Martin Corporation will be the chief guest.
Office shifted
