SHILLONG: The annual school sports of Synod Higher Secondary School was held at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium on Monday.
Besides the inter-house sports competition, an inter-school relay for the under-17 category was also held which was participated by DNS Wahlang Higher Secondary School, KJP Higher Secondary School, Christian Academy, Jaiaw Presbyterian Higher Secondary School, Nora Evelyn Secondary School, Pearly Dew and the host school.
Christian Academy emerged as the winner of the inter-school relay whereas Synod Higher Secondary School and KJP Higher Secondary School stood in the second and third position respectively.
Secretary of the Bible Society of India, Rev P. Dkhar was the chief guest of the annual school sports day.
