Meghalaya athlete wins kickboxing bronze in Turkey

SHILLONG: Hameshaniah Suiam bagged a bronze medal in the senior men’s below 57 kg weight category at the 4th Turkish Open International Kickboxing Tournament 2019 held at Antalya from April 4-7. Suiam was part of the Indian contingent that returned with a rich haul of two gold medals, 5 silver medals and 4 bronze medals. Suiam hails from Shangpung village in West Jaintia Hills. The Meghalaya State Kickboxing Association will organise a felicitation after his return.
