SHILLONG: In a joint operation, Madanrting Police and Anti Narcotics Task Force on Saturday evening seized nearly 47 grams of contraband heroin.
Police also arrested three persons from the vehicle which was intercepted in Mawblei.
Police said that the catch was quite huge and the seizure and arrests were made when three persons were travelling from Madanrting side towards Smit Village in the vehicle.
The vehicle was intercepted by the traffic personnel on reasonable suspicion and the seizures were made after a thorough checking of the vehicle was done .
