SHILLONG: Chief Electoral Officer Frederick Kharkongor has directed the returning officer in Tura to ensure that re-poll at a booth under Selsella Assembly constituency on Monday is free, fair and non-erroneous.

Further, it was directed to arrange webcasting and videography to cover the entire exercise as an added layer of monitoring.
Besides the deputy commissioner, the SP, observer for Selsella by-poll, additional deputy commissioners, sub divisional police officer, Dadenggre and two sector officers visited the polling station on Sunday evening.
