KSU activists force banks’ shutdown in Shillong on Monday

SHILLONG: Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) activists on Monday  forcibly shutdown all banks in Shillong on the allegation that Banks had not declared holiday on account of a Khasi festival. Around 15 youths went around in downtown area and compelled all banks to pull down shutters for the day.
