SHILLONG: The FKJGP Ri-War Mihngi circle and HYC Ri War Mihngi have claimed that labourers working in some construction sites do not possess labour license and work permit.
The two organisations conducted a joint inspection of labourers and claimed to have come across the labourers who have not obtained labour licenses and were working in CHC Pynursla.
Further, they also inspected private construction sites in Mawryngkang and Lapalang and found that locals use the services of such labourers. The organisations have urged the tribals to inform them if they come across any non-tribal labourer.
