SHILLONG: A special Mass and memorial service will be held on April 24 at 5. 30 pm at the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians to offer prayers for the victims of bomb blasts and also for world peace.
Barnabas Nongbah, the general secretary, Catholic Association of Shillong, said as a mark of solidarity, all churches under Shillong Archdiocese will also offer Masses for the departed and the injured throughout the week. “We strongly condemn the senseless act of terror which has resulted in death and injury besides destruction of property”, Nongbah said.
