Open to all football tourney

SHILLONG: Wahiajer Sports Club will hold the 5th open to all Knockout football tournament from the second week of May which will be played at Wahiajer stadium, Jaintia Hills. Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, secretary of the club, Dauni Phawa said 32 teams will be playing in which the winner will bag Rs 2 lakhs while the runner up will receive Rs 1 lakh. The entry fee for each club is Rs 1500.Phawa said the tournament will benefit the young players as they will share space with players from Super League.
