TURA: An 18 year old youth was murdered and his body dumped in the Jinjiram river in Phulbari region leading to the arrest of two of the victim’s friends who allegedly orchestrated the murder.
The youth, Alom Mondol of Kukarpahar, was last seen with the two suspects on the evening of April 18 and failed to return home that night. His body was found on the river bank by some fishermen late Wednesday evening. He had been strangulated and his body dumped into the water.
Based on investigation police took into custody Sofial Sheikh (18) and Malu Sheikh (24) Basmura village under Fakirganj village of neighbouring Assam. The two suspects were last seen with the teenager before his disappearance and subsequent murder.
