TURA: An 18-year-old youth was murdered and his body was dumped in the Jinjiram river in Phulbari region leading to the arrest of two of the victim’s friends who allegedly orchestrated the murder. The youth, Alom Mondol of Kukarpahar, was last seen with the two suspects on the evening of April 18 and failed to return home. His body was found on the river bank by some fishermen on Wednesday. He had been strangulated and his body dumped into the water.
Based on investigation police took into custody Sofial Sheikh (18) and Malu Sheikh (24) from Basmura village under Fakirganj village of Assam.
