Mawkyrwat: The Deputy Commissioner of South West Khasi Hills, Isawanda Laloo on Monday, declared May 6 a district holiday on account of the Seng Khasi festival of Shad Suk Mynsiem.
“Therefore, all state government offices, revenue and magisterial courts and educational institutions in South West Khasi Hills District shall remain closed on May 6 on account of Shad Suk Mynsiem,” Laloo said.
