Mild earthquake jolts NE

GUWAHATI:A mild tremor was felt in Assam and other north-eastern states on Saturday afternoon at around 4.30 pm.

The magnitude of the earthquake was measured at 5.1 on the Richter scale. The epicentre of the earthquake was located in north-west Myanmar (26.146N  95.786E).
