SHILLONG: NEIGRIHMS has informed that the institute has made available cardiology devices in Amrit pharmacy which also provides medicine and other items at affordable rates.
In a statement issued on Saturday in response to the queries from stakeholders of the institute, NEIGRIHMS said that OPD services in cardiology had resumed from May 3 and 33 patients were examined up to 1 pm on Saturday.
The medical superintendent, NEIGRIHMS had forwarded a list of stents of 31 items and balloon list of 20 items received from Priya Prasad, officer, operations, Amrit Pharmacy to the head of the cardiology department on Saturday, the statement said.
“These items have already been made available in Amrit Pharmacy, NEIGRIHMS from May 3 for the benefit of the patients, so that patient care does not suffer in cardiology. The Union Ministry of Health and Family has also been informed accordingly”, the statement said.
