Army Public School felicitates toppers

SHILLONG: Army Public School Shillong organised a felicitation ceremony at the David Hall of the school to acknowledge and reward the hard work and performance of the toppers of CBSE Class X and XII examinations on Tuesday.
Major General P K Saini, Officiating GOC and the Patron of the school, Brigadier Alok Khurana, Chairman APS Shillong, Colonel Anurag Saxena SO1 Education also attended the programme among others.
Saini felicitated the toppers with a memento, cash prize and certificate of merit each. Altogether 16 students were felicitated on the occasion.
The patron also felicitated S.S Choudhary (PGT Commerce), Rishiraj Choudhury (PGT Computer Science), Sheela Jose (PGT Biology), Aruna Das (PGT Geography) and Nisha Gurung (TGT English) for their persistent efforts in laying the foundation of success of the school.
Speaking on the occasion, the Patron reiterated the role of academics in the holistic development of the students and lauded the prodigies for bringing laurels to the institute. He also highlighted the importance of a healthy teacher- student relationship in bringing about a steady growth in output and performance of the students and congratulated the Principal, students, parents and teachers for their efforts and guidance.
