Intl seminar to be held in city

SHILLONG: The North-East India Council for Social Science Research (NEICSSR), Shillong will organise an international seminar centering on the theme ‘Community and Cultural Multiplicity in North East India & South Asia: Ethnography, History & Society’ at Shillong Law College in the city from May 20 to 22.
Around 18 delegates from across the world will be attending the programme.
The seminar will be inaugurated by BK Dutta who is a member of the North Eastern Council, Shillong at 10am on Monday.
More than 100 research papers have been received for presentation on various aspects of the main theme.
