The Federation of Khasi Jaintia Garo Federation (FKJGP) conveyed their best wishes to the meritorious students who passed in the SSLC and HSSLC exams. It urged the students who failed in the examinations to not be disheartened but to make an effort the next time.

Cattle seized
The Superintendent of Police, West Jaintia Hills district informed that the BSF personnel of Muktapur BOP while patrolling along the international border seized 51 cattle intended for smuggling purposes. The SP request the owners or anyone who has knowledge of any cattle theft to approach Dawki Police Station.

No-entry
The Superintendent of Police (City), East Khasi Hills informed that in view of the East India Amateur Feeder Tournament to be held in Shillong Golf Club on June 1 and 2, routes in Golflink will be restricted. There will be ‘No-Entry’ from 5 am till 2pm. There will be No-Entry from Golf Club towards PTS and Lum Shyiap, No-Entry from Lad Shyiap/Tiara restaurant towards Golf Club and No-Entry from PTS/ Sanker towards Golflink.
