NONGSTOIN: The MLA and MDC of Mawshynrut Gigur Marthong handed over an ambulance from SRWP scheme to the Lyngngam Coal Trading Agency in a programme held at Shallang, Sohbar, on Friday.
The MLA also handed over the ambulance to the president of the LCTA for maintenance and care taker of the ambulance.
Speaking at the function, Marthong hoped for a a better service that the ambulance will provide to the people of Mawshynrut which will cater to the need of the patients in getting better and faster medical services.
He said the ambulance will instill confidence among the people of the area in gaining access to medical services during critical times.
He also said the Health sector is being given top priority in the state and efforts are being made to improve the health-delivery system.
