Shillong: The Financial Literacy Week, which is an initiative of RBI will be observed from June 3-7 on the theme ‘Farmers’ at Hotel Poinisuk from 11 am.
The event, just like every year, will promote awareness on key topics through a focused campaign and how the farmers can benefit by being a part of the formal banking system.
Further, RBI will also undertake a centralised mass media campaign during the month of June on Doordarshan and All India Radio to disseminate essential financial awareness messages to farmers.
