Competition
Vintage United Sports and Cultural Club will organise an Inter-school Art and Quiz competition at RB Anup Chand Higher Secondary School. The event will start at 1.30 pm on June 8.

Pollution test
The NSS unit of Lady Keane College in collaboration with the Meghalaya State Pollution Control board will conduct a free pollution test for vehicles on Tuesday at the additional secretariat building parking lot from 9.30 am to 3 pm as a part of the World Environment Day celebration.

Cattle seized
The SP of Police, West Jaintia Hills has informed that the BSF personnel of Muktapur BOP has seized 20 cattle on June 1and 2, in transit to be smuggled, while conducting patrolling along the International Border falling under Muktapur PP jurisdiction. Owners and anyone with knowledge of cattle thievery are requested to approach Dawki PS for further procedure.

General meet
The Annual General Meeting of Seng Kur Suting will be held on June 8at 11 am in the Community Dorbar Hall, Mission Compound, near Nabon College Student Field, Jaiaw, Shillong. All Suting clans are requested to attend the meeting.

Silver Jubilee
Shillong Public School will organise the Silver Jubilee celebration at the school premises on June 7. Chief Minister Conrad Sangma will be the chief guest and Education minister Lahkmen Rymbui will be the guest of honour. The event will begin at 4.30 pm.
