Swimming c’ship concludes

SHILLONG: The 15th Junior & Sub Junior Swimming Championship organised by the  Meghalaya Swimming Association in collaboration with the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs, Meghalaya, saw the participation of  swimmers from Shillong, Darrang, Shella, Mawkyrwat , Umpung. The competition’s highlight was the emergence of strong girl swimmers from the villages who gave a tough competition to the other competitors. Swimmers from Shella and True North a swimming club from Shillong won most of the medals. Altogether more than 80 swimmers  took part in the 2 day competition.
