Mawthawpdah-Rangdkhew road needs ‘immediate attention’

MAWKYRWAT: Mawkyrwat MLA and MIDC Chairman Renik L Tongkhar has said the Mawthawpdah-Rangdkhew road is in a “terrible condition” and needs immediate attention.
The MLA along with the PWD executive engineer, Mawkyrwat division, M Mawthoh, on Saturday inspected the dilapidated road that turns into a nightmare after rain.
Speaking to media persons during the visit, Tongkhar said, “The road is in terrible condition and it is not motorable and therefore it needs immediate repair. We (with engineer) will try to find ways to get fund and repair this road so that vehicle can pass through all seasons.”
Tongkhar also said that he will meet Nongstoin MLA Macmillan Byrsat and discuss the matter with Marngor village under Nongstoin constituency.
