ANTF tracks down drug suppliers

SHILLONG: The Anti Narcotic Task Force (ANTF), after tracking the movements of petty drug peddlers, narrowed down the location of one of the middle-level suppliers.
East Khasi Hills SP informed that on Monday night around 9.30 pm, the ANTF team and the Laitumkhrah Police arrested Rintu Saikia of Central Nongrim Hills. Heroin weighing 58.78 grams, packed in five soap cases were seized under due procedures of NDPS Act after search was carried out in the suspect’s house.
