Childline gets police pat for rescue help

JOWAI: Childline has assisted the West Jaintia Hills District Police in the recent rescue operation of the minor girls who were the victims of child trafficking here.
Dennis Kurkalang of Childline along with his team member has been pro active, assisting the district Police whenever cases related to children sprout up in the region.
The West Jaintia Hills District Police conveyed their gratefulness and appreciation to Dennis Kurkalang and the Childline Team, Jowai for constant support and active cooperation.
A certificate of appreciation and reward was given on Saturday by the Superintendent of Police, West Jaintia Hills in the presence of Bijay Chettri, Additional Superintendent of Police, WJH and WPSI I Kharpran, OC Women Police Station, Jowai.
