Alleged murder
Kamwathmu Suchiang lodged a complaint that on June 16 around 5.30 pm, he learnt that Damonlang Lyngdoh and Philimon Lyngdoh murdered his brother Katwamonmi Suchiang at Lakashang near Madan Rwan village (WJH).
Loot
Jai Kishore (38) lodged a complaint that two unidentified miscreants snatched his purse, ATM card and a mobile phone while he and his friend were on the way to Mendipathar (NGH) on a motorcycle, at Do’bima Chiring (NGH).
Duped
G R L Marshillong registered a complaint that the owners of M/s Ferro Alloy Pvt. Ltd., Rwiang (WKH) Naresh Ch Keyal and Kailash Ch Keyal failed to pay an amount of Rs 1,42,18,300 to the complainant on account of expenditure incurred in the establishment of the plant at the for the enterprise including purchase of land, raw materials and supply of coal which was arranged by the complainant as per agreement executed in the year 2018.
Estate papers stolen
Kamnipaia Paslein filed a complaint that her husband Joptimon Pala had stolen her land holding certificate from her rented house at Nongthymmai, Nongkhyriem, Shillong and sold the same to one Sofia Pala of Mihmyntdu village, Jowai (WJH). Further, she learnt that Sofia Pala had changed the complainant’s name on the land holding certificate and put her own name, by forging the complainant’s signature.
Theft
On June 14, miscreant broke into the house of Ibapynsuklang Galong at Mawlai, Nongkwar and stole a digital camera and kitchen sets.
Bhakupar Sawian filed a complaint that on June 14 around 8 pm, miscreants stole 21 batteries from the Vodafone tower at Mawlai Umjapung, Shillong.
Motorcycle stolen
Salemul Ahmed lodged a complaint that on June 14 around 8.30 pm, miscreants stole a motorcycle (ML-05K-0408), which was parked at Polo, Shillong.
Hit and run
On June 14 around 7 pm, a motorcycle (AS-01AQ-2581) ridden by Niksrang N Sangma knocked down one Purna Chanda (54) at Resu-Dekachang (NGH) and fled the scene. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to CHC Resubelpara from where he was referred to GNRC Guwahati.
Battery missing
Theophilas Passah lodged a complaint that on June 13 around 1 pm, staff of DIPR Office discovered that the battery of the office generator was found missing.
ATM fraud
Kelbinson Sangma of Ka’ma Gandim village, under Kharkutta PS (NGH) lodged a complaint that on June 11 around 11.57 pm, he was informed that Rs 40,000 was transferred from his account to SBI, Golaghat-Dergaon Branch (Assam), and in a separate incident Rs 20,000 was withdrawn via one ATM at Jalpaluri.
Anupama Chettri lodged a complaint that on June 7, she received a phone call from one Deepak Sharma withdrew Rs 48,999 fraudulently by asking her ATM details over the phone.
