IPS probationers asked to boost devp pace

GUWAHATI: Assam Governor Jagdish Mukhi on Monday told a group of IPS probationers that all the officers are expected to work sincerely in their respective fields and play a vital role in taking the nation forward in the path of development.
Mukhi interacted with 22 IPS Probationers of 71RR (2018 Batch) who had called on him at Raj Bhavan here.
Addressing the probationers, he elucidated the government’s vision for developing the state and elaborated on the important thrust areas. He informed the delegates about the inherent strength of the state viz. natural resources, human resources and rich cultural heritage of the state.
Mukhi also said the country would depend on them for maintenance of law and order, security measures, etc.
