Cyber crime complaint lodged

TURA: Members of the A’chik Welfare Association (AWA), North Garo Hills, have filed a police complaint alleging misuse of social media by an unidentified person to defame a local woman.
According to the FIR, a fake account uploaded photos of a woman accusing her of prostitution.
The photos had gone viral on social media.
Police have have launched an investigation into the matter.
