SHILLONG: A driver identified as Ayub Khan from Barpeta, Assam, who got into an accident on Sunday evening succumbed to his injuries on Monday.
The accident took place beyond Ryndang Briew and the victim was in a very serious condition, the police said.
He was travelling to Guwahati alone when he lost control and fell into a 50 feet deep gorge.
