Marathon to create awareness against drug abuse

TURA: As part of the awareness against drug abuse, the district police of West Garo Hills is organising a marathon race to mark the International Day against Drug abuse and Ilicit trafficking which will be flagged off from District  Auditorium Tura on 26th June 2019 at 5:30 AM and culminate at Chandmary playground Tura. 
The selected route for the marathon race starts from District Auditorium – Babupara Bridge – Tura bajar – Gurjoo Studio junction – Hawakhana Axis Bank – Circuit House junction – Tetengkol – Behind AOC – Ringrey Bridge – Chandmary field will be the end point. Enthusiastic sportspersons and the general public have been requested to come and participate and make the event a  meaningful one.
