Assault
On Tuesday around 8:30pm, while Raihan Masud Akond of Kalapani village, West Garo Hills was returning home after closing his grocery shop, three unidentified miscreants on a motorcycle stopped him and attempted to snatch his bag. A scuffle ensued in which the miscreants shot the complainant, causing injuries to him.
Komol Khymdeit lodged a complaint stating that on June 30 around 7 pm, Diken Lyngdoh assaulted him at Umpyrdong village in Ri Bhoi.

Theft
Pranab Kumar lodged a complaint stating that on Wednesday around 6pm, he discovered that during his absence, unknown miscreants had broken into his house in Demseiniong and stole one LPG cylinder.
Satyendra Kumar lodged a complaint stating that on Wednesday, he discovered that during his absence, unknown miscreants had broken into his residence in Nongkynrih, Laitumkhrah and stole four mobile phones and two wallets containing Rs 50,000.
Lobsang Tashi lodged a complaint stating that on Tuesday around 4pm, unknown miscreants had broken into his residence in Nongrimmaw, Laitumkhrah and stole one laptop and one LPG cylinder.
On June 29 at around 1am, unknown miscreants stole one scooty belonging to Nani Mondol from his residence at Rongsak village in East Garo Hills.

Threat
Blasis Ramshon on Tuesday lodged a complaint stating that Rangkynsai, ex-Headman of Lumdaitkhla village, Ri Bhoi, demanded money and threatened him with dire consequences if he failed to pay the money.
Wines Kurbah, Secy, VDP Mawphaniew village, West Khasi Hills lodged a complaint stating that on June 30, Tobias Rani was apprehended while selling illicit liquor in the village. However, the accused attempted to assault the VDP members and also threatened them with dire consequences.
