Cremation
The general secretary of Gorkha Samshan Ghat has informed that due to non-availability of woods for cremation purpose at the Gorkha Samshan Ghat Barapathar (Mawbah) Shillong, people will have to make their own arrangement for wood (contact No 8414078432).
Religious ceremony
The annual prayer meeting will be held at Laban Namghar, Shillong from August 9-11. The Adhibash will be on August 9, Maha Utsav will be on August 10 and 11, followed by Prasad distribution. Prabhat Pheri is on August 11.
Kali Puja
The members of GSC& MS, the management of the Shillong Electric Crematorium will perform their annual Shri Shri Kali Puja on July 31 night on the premises of Shillong Electric Crematoriun, T.B.Hospital Road, Jhalupara.
