Assault
Sambunki Bareh lodged a complaint stating that on Jul 29 around 8 pm, four persons identified as Hed Phalangki, Kmenlang Maskut, Wednesday Dkhar and Dung Bareh assaulted her husband Honstar Sari in Lad Nartiang, West Jaintia Hills. The accused also snatched his car keys and Rs 20,000. Meanwhile, the victim sustained injuries and was taken to Dr. Norman Tunnel Hospital in Jowai.

Fraud
Elizabeth Sailo lodged a complaint stating that on November 4, 2018, Md. Habibur Rahman took Rs 1 crore 15 lakh from her and fled. On July 30, 2019 around 10 pm, the complainant traced him to Essar Oil in Khanapara, Ri-Bhoi and took him to Khanapara PS.

Theft cases
Lorphin Kurkalang lodged a complaint stating that on July 31, between 2:10 pm and 3:15 pm, unknown miscreants broke into his vehicle parked in Fire Brigade, Shillong and stole Rs 1,10,000 including his EPIC, PAN card and Driving License.
Elphenson Momin lodged a complaint stating that on July 30 around 2 am, unknown miscreants stole his motorcycle (ML-13-8287), which was parked at Watregittim in Kharkutta, North Garo Hills.
Anthony Phankon lodged a complaint stating that on July 30 between 2 am and 5 am, unknown miscreants stole his motorcycle (ML-05H-6996) from Nongmensong.
Subhash Thapa lodged a complaint stating that on July 22 between 1 am and 4 am, unknown miscreants stole his motorcycle from his residence in Lapalang, Pdengshnong.
Ardon Chyne a resident of Pynthor Block-I lodged a complaint stating that his Yamaha Fazer motorcycle (ML 05 S 3135) was stolen on July 29, 2019 by unknown miscreants. Chyne filed his complaint with the officer in charge of Pasteur Hills Beat House in Polo.
