SHILLONG: The SMART charitable trust on Friday conferred the ‘Best Traffic Policeman Shillong’ award for the year 2019 to the head constable Victorious Lyngkhoi and UB constable Stepjakrikra Sangma for their outstanding contribution to the management of traffic in the city.
The president of the trust P Naik, Additional Chief Secretary Home (police) RV Suchiang, presented the awards along with the office bearers of the trust CA Lyngwa, IPS, Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills, and BD Marak, MPS, Superintendent of Police (Traffic), East Khasi Hills.
