Basketball court inaugurated

WILLIAMNAGAR: Williamnagar MLA and the Govt. Chief Whip, Marcuise N Marak inaugurated the newly constructed basketball court at Rongrenggre Govt. Higher Secondary School, Williamnagar, in the presence of East Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner, Swapnil Tembe, Govt. officials, school teachers, NGO leaders and the prominent citizens on August 3. Inaugurating the basketball court, Marcuise N Marak informed the gathering that the infrastructure having the lighting facilities had been constructed at a cost of Rs. 5,00,000.00 and lauded the district administration for taking initiatives. While appreciating the steps taken by the Deputy Commissioner, Marcuise informed that Swapnil Tembe himself is a sports enthusiast and urged the youth to work in tandem to promote games and sports in the district.
