Theft
Blister Lyngkhoi of Rambrai Mawrang village, West Khasi Hills, lodged a complaint that on August 3 around 1:15 am, unknown miscreants stole his Maruti Car (ML-05E-0503) from his garage.
Ajit Nath lodged a complaint on August 1 that unknown miscreants stole a dumper truck (HR-55K-2077) belonging to M/s CCL International which was capsized on the road at Songkama village under Songsak PS, East Garo Hills. During enquiry, police recovered the stolen dumper truck from a garage belonging to one Jiarul Islam (22 yrs) at Goalpara, Assam.

Accident
A Kharsyntiew, Secretary, Seng Longkmie, New Nongstoin, West Khasi Hills lodged a complaint that on Aug 1 around 6:41 pm, a scooter (ML-06-9411) ridden by Willbor Lyngdoh of Nonglang village with two pillion riders, Donkerry Ryntathiang and Franky Marbaniang met with an accident at Mawlarshong, Nongstoin, West Khasi Hills. On seeing, the accident, some elderly women from Seng Longkmie rushed to the spot to help them where the members of Seng Longkmie saw suspicious small package lying at the accident site. Later, during enquiry, Donkerry Ryntathiang admitted that the contraband substance is narcotic substance (Heroin) which belonged to him. On the receipt of the information, police rushed to the spot and seized .054 grams of heroin.

Duped
Medo Angami of DGAR Nongrimmaw, Laitumkhrah, lodged a complaint that on Aug 1, he made a deal with an OLX account holder Jora Singh and purchased a scooty by paying him Rs. 30,000. He later realised that he has been cheated.

Assault
Shliek Mukhim of Umsning village, East Khasi Hills (EKH), lodged a complaint that on July 2 around 10 pm, while she was travelling in a hired vehicle, one Libikas Rynjah and others armed with knife, threatened her and her daughter with dire consequences at Tanglei village, EKH.
