Karate tourney concludes

SHILLONG: The 27th Inter School & 9th Inter College Karate Tournament 2019 concluded at Laban Sports Club Indoor Hall, Laban, Shillong. Altogether 428 participants from 61 Schools & 9 Colleges participated. Shri Alan N. Niangti, Senior Karatekas of the State attended attend the ceremony as Chief Guest. The Association also felicitated Miss Linza Fenny Syiem for being appointed as Women Coach of the Indian team for the recently concluded 16th AKF Senior Karate Championship and also for achieving a Diploma as Kumite Coach, Asian Karate Federation in the examination held at Tashkant, Uzbekistan from July 15–21, 2019.
