Tribute
Tagore lovers of Shillong will pay tribute to Rabindranath Tagore at Brookside, Rilbong at 4 pm on Thursday to commemorate his 78th death anniversary. On August 11 at 5 pm, a programme on Tagore’s celebrated novel Sesher Kobita/Farewell My Friend (back drop is Shillong) will be held at U Soso Tham auditorium and Governor of Meghalaya and Minister of Arts and Culture will be the chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
