Programme
Bongiya Sahitya Parishad, Shillong, will organise a cultural programme to commemorate Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore’s 78th death anniversary on August 10 at 5.30pm at the Parishad hall, Jail Road.
Selection test
The Selection Test for private candidates for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate – 2019 is scheduled to be held on September 17. Application forms will be issued by the headmaster/headmistress/principal of centers concerned and the last date for submission to the centers is August 23.
Prayer
The Muslims of Shillong will be celebrating Eid-Ul-Adha on August 12. The prayer will be at 9 am in Laban Eid-Gah, Madina Masjid.
