HYC demands to rename road

SHILLONG: The Hynniewtrep Youth Council (HYC) Malki circle demanded that Dhankheti road should be renamed as Bull N Lyngdoh Road and Bull N Lyngdoh Lane.
Lyngdoh was a former Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) leader. The demand was made during a programme to select the office bearers of HYC Malki circle on Saturday.
The members of the HYC circle said they will make the demand to the Dorbar Shnong and the state government to rename Dhankheti in the coming days.
