Local lad in Mr Teen India finale

NONGSTOIN: Lastingwel Puwein, resident of a small hamlet in Sdaddkhar in Maweit under West Khasi Hills, will be competing in the grand finale of Alee Club Mr. Teen India to be held on August 25.
Lastingwel, a local youth of Maweit, where he took a challenge by choosing modelling as his career, has enlisted himself in Alee Club Miss & Mr Teen India through Instagram and was subsequently selected in an audition at Calcutta few months ago. Eventually he advanced into the semi final. In the semi final, held in New Delhi on July 22, he was selected among the 43 finalists.
Speaking to The Shillong Times, Lastingwel said that he was alone in the capital city and needed support from the people of the state and the North East as well.
Lastingwel was the only finalist in Mr Teen India from the whole of North East.
Lastingwel has appealed to the people and state government to lend their support so that he becomes the winner of the contest.
He has asked the people of the state and the NE to vote via SMS by typing ‘AC_Lastingwel Puwein’ and sending it to 56070.
