Women’s body seeks James’ intervention in murder case

SHILLONG: The members of Seng Longkmie, Umpling have sought the intervention of Home Minister James Sangma in the murder case of one of the members of the organisation, a statement issued here said.
The organisation has asked the home minister to take due action on his part in order to give justice to the one who suffered loss of life in such dastardly act.
It may be mentioned that, on June 6, Iohbiang Sahkar Assistant Manager, MTDC and an executive member of the Seng Longkmie, Umpling had been murdered.
An FIR had been lodged by Sahkar’s family members and a couple was arrested on murder charges, the statement informed.
