SHILLONG: Chief Minister Conrad Sangma in the presence of Tourism Minister Metbah Lyngdoh, on Friday, signed an agreement to allow the Indian Hotels Co. Ltd (Taj Vivanta) to operate Crowborough which will be converted into a 5-star hotel.
A government statement said on Friday that the signing of the agreement is a positive step for tourism and the hospitality sector.
The chief minister said the hotel, once completed, will greatly benefit tourists looking for quality accommodation during their stay in the city.
