Theft
Rakesh Kumar Jha lodged a complaint that on Thursday around 5:30 am, he learnt that miscreant(s) had stolen his scooty which was parked near Seven Set School in Malki.
Buddeisuk Suchiang lodged a complaint that on Thursday around 7:30 am, he learnt that unknown miscreant(s) had stolen his motorcycle from his residential compound at Lower New Colony, Laitumkhrah.

Threat
Etlan Myrthong, Sirdar of Mawshut village, West Khasi Hills, lodged a complaint that one person namely Maxx, who claimed to be an active member of HNLC, threatened to kill him in a press release which was published in ‘U Mawphor’ dated Aug. 29, 2019 under the caption ‘Byrngem siat iap uba kam HNLC ia u Sordar Mawshut’. In the press release, the accused also alleged the complainant of murdering the uncle of the accused in 2007.

Assault
Sumitra Thapa lodged a complaint that on Aug. 27 around 10:30 pm, her ex-son-in-law viz., Suraj Thapa along with his accomplice, entered her residential compound at Upper Mawprem, with an intention of harming her and her family members. The accused persons also damaged her vehicle and broke its windshield.
B. Srinivas, Project Manager, M/s BSCPL Infrastructure Ltd., Camp Betasing, South West Garo Hills, lodged a complaint that on Tuesday, security guard of the company namely Sengnan Sangma assaulted three staff of the company viz., (1) Satish Kumar, (2) Shyamal Baran Goral and (3) Dipankar Das. As a result, the victims sustained injuries and were shifted to Civil Hospital, Ampati (CH), from where Kumar was referred to CH, Tura.
Tengtey R Marak of M/s Rachel Service Station, Bokmagre, Tura, West Garo Hills lodged a complaint that on August 25 around 11:20 am, unidentified persons, claiming to be members of NGO, went to his petrol pump at Bokmagre, Tura in one Maruti car (AS-01G-1319), filled 10 litres of petrol and also snatched one mobile phone from his employee viz., Roshan Patel.

Drugs recovered
On Tuesday around 11:40 pm, acting on inputs, local residents of Mawbyrshem locality, West Khasi Hills (WKH), detained Waltersius Kharbani on suspicion of possessing drugs. Police rushed to the place, conducted search and recovered 0.43 grams of suspected heroin from his possession. On his leading, the police also raided the house of Marshal Marweiñ of Lawse village in WKH and recovered 0.27 grams of suspected heroin. Reportedly, both the drug peddlers revealed that one Dondor Lyngdoh Mawlong had knowingly given them space in his residence for packing the suspected heroin.

Cyberbullying
Delfi Thongney lodged a complaint that on August 15, during the Independence Day celebrations at her educational institution, she wore a saree and uploaded certain photographs of her wearing the above mentioned attire on her Facebook account. On the same day, unknown person(s) uploaded her photographs in a group viz., ‘Ka Lympung ki Khun ka Ri’, in which the group members posted disturbing comments and obscene pictures, expressing their negative views that the attire she had put on, was an embarrassment to the Khasi community.
