TURA: The Garo Students’ Union (GSU), East Zone Williamnagar has alleged ‘lack of services’ at the SBI Branch at Williamnagar and the practice of ‘unprofessionalism’ by its staff towards its customers.

In its complaint to the Regional Manager, SBI in Guwahati, the union said that there have been many cases when the staff is seen busy in some other priorities instead of attending to the customers at peak hours.

“There are also instances when the staff is found to be extremely lethargic, rude and show callous attitude towards the customers further delaying the day to day functioning of the bank,” the union alleged.

Stating that complaints have been received from many customers, the union requested the concerned official to take necessary steps to ensure the smooth functioning of the bank.
