SHILLONG: East Jaintia Hills police on Monday recovered 12.85 grammes of heroin from a woman who was arrested on Saturday.
The lady who is suspected to be the main supplier of drugs in Jaintia Hills was arrested from Nartiang village in West Jaintia Hills District.
On Friday last, a joint team of ANTF East Jaintia Hills, Ladrymbai Outpost and VDP (village defence party) members recovered 10.64 gms of heroin from Pamra Mukoi Lara in the district and arrested three persons while the fourth arrest was also made by the police in an undisclosed area of West Jaintia Hills.
