Ri Bhoi cops rescue minor

NONGPOH: The Ri Bhoi Police rescued a minor from the clutches of kidnappers while they were about to shift their location at Diboka, Assam on Monday.
Informing media persons, police informed that parents of the boy came to know about their son being kidnapped only on Sunday evening after receiving a phone call from the kidnappers demanding Rs 10 lakh as ransom.
Following which, the parents of the minor boy lodged a complaint at Nongpoh Police Station.
“The minor was spotted by the family members while the kidnapper was trying to shift the location at Diboka, Assam” sources informed.
The kidnapper was identified as Sansudeen Ali from Nagoan.
It was also informed by the police that they have initiated investigation in the matter .
