After learning of the huge snake being caught at Balachanda area in West Garo Hills, AHAM members from Tura directed its local area unit to take the animal into their custody. The snake was rescued from fisherman, Nengrak Sangma and later handed over to Wildlife officials by the Balachanda AHAM Women’s Wing.
