SHILLONG: Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui on Tuesday told the Assembly that seven vocational courses have been introduced in 23 government schools under the Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan.
Replying to a query from Nongpoh MLA Mayralborn Syiem, the Education Minister informed the House that in due course of time these courses would be introduced in other schools of the state as well.
Umroi MLA George Lyngdoh while participating in the discussion said that the government must put up required infrastructure in the schools as these requires specialized equipment.
