Scuffle over NRC
On September 9, around 9 pm, while four persons from Sawlad, Madanrting viz. Suleman Uddin (33), Baharuddin (32), Dollar Hussain (31) and Kamal Hussain (29) were proceeding towards a tyre shop at Mawblei Madanrting, six miscreants stopped them, asked for NRC certificates, snatched two mobile phones and assaulted them.
Burglary
Anil Kumar Tibrewalla lodged a complaint that on September 13, he found that miscreants broke into his shop at Jail Road, Shillong and stole grocery items and cash.
Break-in
Mukesh Tiwari lodged a complaint that on September 12, miscreants broke into his rented house at Them Marwet Khanapara (RB) and stole Rs. 3,76,000.
